BNS is celebrating its 20th anniversary! Back in February 1999, when your computer was still as big as your entire desk. As that was quite a while ago now, we’d like to tell you about 20 years of BNS history.
BNS started out in 1999 as a distributor of Cisco accessories. Initially under the name Top Data cables & services, and from 2006 onwards as BNS Data logistics. BNS provides a wide range of connectivity solutions. As well as hardware, we also offer our customers auto-provisioning services and warehouse solutions. This enables our customers to manage and monitor their equipment remotely, as well as to upgrade and update firmware. In recent years, we have also added refurbishment to the BNS range of services, thereby literally taking the burden of lifecycle management for our partners’ products and services off their hands, either in full or in part.
We can confidently claim to be the leading one-stop supplier of specialist connectivity solutions for the Benelux.
In 1999, we started in Utrecht with a 120 m² warehouse, which grew from 1,000 m² in Nieuwegein to 1,500 m² in De Meern. This then expanded to 3,800 m² in our first premises in Vianen, and now stands at 5,500 m² in our current premises in Vianen. From these locations, we have dispatched over 8.5 million parcels over the past 20 years.
