Jeroen van Kerkhof, Director of BNS Cosmos, took part in the first Circular IT Summit last week. This platform was created in response to a clear need to explore different approaches to achieving a sustainable future within the IT sector. The focus was on topics such as recycling, legislation, the sector’s image and the role of suppliers. Various experts in the field of refurbished equipment and lifecycle management took the floor. The diverse backgrounds of the participants led to a wide-ranging discussion. A product passport could offer a solution for tracing the origin and reuse of raw materials.
Inspired by this event, the Circular IT Conference will take place on 16 November 2022 at the SDG Maarten Martens Huis in Doorn.
