BUGLAS brings together companies in Germany that are involved in the deployment of fiber-optic networks. They do this by making high-speed internet available to both businesses and consumers. By deploying fiber-optic infrastructure, Germany can establish and operate a future-oriented, high-quality communications network.

BUGLAS advocates for investment-friendly framework conditions in which FttB/H business models can be successfully implemented. The association effectively supports the federal government’s broadband strategy by promoting the establishment and expansion of its own fiber-optic networks. By the end of 2017, the more than 85 member companies had directly connected approximately 2.1 million households and businesses to fiber optics. By the end of 2019, the number had risen to more than 900,000 additional households and businesses directly connected to fiber optics.

BNS is proud to be part of the BUGLAS family. With our approach to connectivity in hardware, logistics, and automation services, we partner with energy and telecommunications providers throughout Northwestern Europe.
